Shot on Easter Monday 2005 in the Leicestershire countryside, this documentary is about a traditional annual event between two rival villages dating back a thousand years. A mix of blood, sweat, drunken violence and confusion, it is also a fun family day out attracting hundreds of locals every year. It could only happen in the English countryside...

I can't believe it is 10 years since I went to see this.
Basically, the core of the Medbourne team was formed by local lads who were in the Tigers youth team. They were big chaps.
Good fun. Great tradition. A very memorable day.
