Alfred Schnittke: Concerto Grosso # 1 - 1. Preludio: Andante 2. Toccatta: Allegro- Gidon Kremer, Tatjana Grindenko, Etc.; Heinrich Schiff: Chamber Orchestra Of Europe
@roccoprch1@nadaniente115a Thanks again for sharing your impressions. I totally agree with you: timing is crucial in videos... That's why many of my first videos are as videos quite bad... and I cannot do videos all he time, I have to feel it... i don't erase them because the music itself is usually good. I am an amateur too, no worries... :-)
@nadaniente115a Hello, my friend. Besides using many paintings of Caspar David Friedrich, whom I consider a genius, and well matched with Schnittke's music, your timing is extraordinary (first 5 minutes is all C.D. Friedrich, correct me if I'm wrong, please). What I mean by timing, you follow the music with the selection of paintings, quite creatively and uniquely, very impressive video/music work! Bravo! Also, music is another language, no doubt! My humble opinion, amateur musician, prideful!
@roccoprch1 Thank you. You know, you start by making bad videos with Imovie and little by little you understand how it works... I am still learning... I have to thank you too: with your comments you helped me to develop my understanding od Schnittke music... He has a dark side that I understood better after I made the video... Usually we say that words mean something but music has no meaning... It seems that we can prove that it is not true... :-)
