  • I think I'll use your tips to teach Russian kids how to pronounce those sounds correctly. :) There's another thing - about the short 'u' sound: when pressing your stomach, you sound a bit like a teddy bear that has a button on its tummy. I think it might be a good explanation for kids, too.
