well its how apple markets its stuff,

they've got a whole league of suckers who love mac.

They know if they release a phone without features (camera) wait a year, and release the exact same phone, just with a camera and a few other patches,

those people will go out and spend another 600$ just to get the camera and what not.

so they've made 1,200$ instead of 600, just by releasing a brand new phone, when the old one could of had those parts already in the first place.

Maybe its to get you to buy the 2nd generation phone with the camera at a later point in time?
