@MrAdeyb Aye it was the spurs game....first home game of the season just after he had signed for them. Ian Bogie (the new gazza) was in midfield and had a brilliant first half setting up two identical goals...but he wavered after half time and tottenham came back inot it (finished 2-2) Gazza did indeed get pelted with mars bars & he took a bite out of one just before he took a corner. Happy days when the match wasn't full of miserablt tw@ts....when we had plenty to be miserable about as well

@toongaz well said,the atmosphere was much better then,,,,i was a scoreboard man myself,the banter with the corner was mint,....do you remember that game the corner was closed as a punishment for pelting mars bars and stuff at officials and gazza picked one up and took a bite out of one,lol??? your end were all in the scoreboard for that game

Gazza is still the best player I have ever seen in a black & white strip...them last few months before he left he was unbelievable, as was the gallowgate end. "THE CORNER" all seater stadiums are tripe & have ruined the atmosphere at games
