The Lier (Norway) Historical Park (Bygdetun) celebrated its 20th anniversary on June 20, 2010 with music and dance. The building in the background is the inn once managed by Evan Heg, who migrated to America with his son Hans Christian Heg in 1840. Colonel H.C. Heg later commanded the mostly Norwegian-American 15th Wisconsin Infantry Regiment during the American Civil War, and was killed at Chickamauga, GA on September 19, 1863.
The dancers are a Norwegian Line Dancing Club.
it is surreal to see line dancing to a Norwegian Polka
