How is Luther Vandross's version considered the best?? By who?? Plainly and simply the best version was sung by who wrote it, David Barret, the original, some people might be too young or haven't heard that version. 1987 to I think 92.

I am glad this video was redone with Luther. I watch March Madness every year for the basketball and to see the final end game end with One Shining Moment. Whatever possessed CBS to use any other version beside Luther or Teddy. The fans spoke in 2010 because Jennifer is not back in 2011 or any other want a be. Thank God!!!!!

I didnt like the Jennifer Hudson redo for ONE SHINING MOMENT. However, Duke still was King of the Dance for 2010. Good Luck to the Butler Bulldogs in the 2011 Final Four!

this was a good version, Luther Vandross' version is still considered the best but this version by teddy pendergrass is good too
