Haunted Hotel - The Read House - Room 311

This was a family weekend getaway. We went for the rich history, & the ghost story attached to The Read House Hotel in Chattanooga, TN. Specifically room 311. This video presentation shares some of the legend itself staged to some of our video clips and pictures. We had some unexplained experiences, as you will hear on this video. A few pictures caught orbs, but the most impressive photo was taken in the Silver Ballroom where 2 dark, shadowy figures were captured in the mirrors. One resembles a soldier, both have human forms. (Note: This hotel was used as a hospital for wounded soldiers in the lobby in the late 1800's.) We feel we may have captured a whispery female voice in room 311, as all of our family members were accounted for in the video and not one of us made that statement, which sounds like "I can't stay here." Or "I can't stand it." This could be an EVP.
We have 2 other videos up on The Read House, the first is more of a photo slide show, the second is of the possible EVP. But I like this one the best. I hope you will enjoy.

and that voice didn´t say  I can´t stay here i have many ghost EVPs from defferent videos and I use a program to clear the background noise and what I heard was ¨I can´t stand it! ¨ and i did it few minutes ago... in the middle of the night... and im alone and this house is giving me the creeps and its for rent... but your second guess was right!

@velcho1969 LOL. Funny how you worded it. Thanks for commenting. I think it says "I can't stand it", A friend of ours heard it a few days ago and she thinks it says "I can't stand you being here." That would make sense, we are kinda annoying at times.

actually, it's 313 that is the official "haunted" room. however, if you ask for room 313, they will tell you that they have no 313. but we seen it, and took a picture of it. if you would like, I can give you a few pictures of the outside of the rooms if you like. We also got some pics of orbs on the 1-2 floor. NONE on the 3, and TONS on the 10th. Guess Anissa didn't want to comply with us... :(

this was the first hotel in chattanooga it was originally the crutchfield house built in 1847 and was the first place occupied by the union in the area it burned down in 1867 and was rebuilt.

The original hotel burned down. The hotel has housed many famous people. Former presidents, actors and actresses. Al Capone was also held there during a trial. My hubby used to work for FOX61 in Chattanooga... They did an awesome halloween story that he saved for me on a disc. It creeped the reporter out. BIG TIME. I will find the vid for you. That whole section of the city is "off". A lot has happened there. I live in the area...
