This video shows how you can adjust your valve clearance on a 50cc 4-stroke engine. Please be sure the engine is cold. This works for Honda, Jincheng, Skyteam and Sachs Models. Also possible to watch in High Quality.

  • Turn the flywheel anti-clockwise.

  • Thanks for posting the video ! Yes, the fonts are hard to read and the music is annoying but I get the point. But you do need to remember that the timing needs to be done not only cold but on the compression stroke.......

  • please tell me, what's the font?

  • it's hard to read the instructions here. also it's important to note that this has to be done when the engine is cold.

  • i just adjusted my honda fifty valves while hot and it runs nice and smooth.

  • u dont need to take apart that so mutch. only the crome cover on the fly cover. then the cam cain cover. ant the valve covers.

  • One thing I didn't notice is that YOU MUST MAKE SURE THE ENGINE IS COLD BEFORE ADJUSTING YOUR VALVES OR THE SETTINGS WILL BE OFF.
