There is absolutely no way I would strive to stuff myself with tons of food while i'm sick, especially when i'm grossly obese, prone to intermittent vomiting episodes, and when my mouth, table, and clothes are encrusted with my own vomit. Mr. Creosote is by far the sickest most disgusting character on the face of the planet (in a positive way), and there's no way any man with or without eating disorders could relate to him.

I heard that they almost didn't do this sketch, until John Cleese realized that the fat man wasn't the funny part at all, the waiter was the funny part. It gave him a whole new take on the scene and he made it funnier than ever
