When the Last.fm ball pit was sabotaged by naughty employees breaking the window, it was all fine until we found glass in the pit after the glazier had left. Sabotage! So, a midnight drunken cleaning operation ensued!

I was just thinking, glass is pretty easy to clean up, but what if someone spilled like...beer. Or Ice cream. Or poo. The ball pit would be ruined.
