  • Actually I like ALL Renaissance music, though I am not much familiar with the Spanish tradition. Venetian school is great, so is Franco-Flemish, and Burgundian. All great and wonderful music. But like you I confess a particular fondness for Willaert's music and have for many years.

  • It probably has to do with the relative simplicity of this music
