Radiohead, at Glastonbury Festival in 2003, playing "Where I End and You Begin". This version is incomplete.

By 2003 most people had accepted the idea that it was no longer possible to crash the festival and hence it is recognised as one of the most successful years to date. The number of tickets available to the public was increased slightly over 2002, partially in response to criticism that the 2002 festival was underpopulated and lacked atmosphere. The tickets sold out within one day of going on sale, in marked contrast to the two months it took to sell a similar number in 2002. It was also the first year that tickets sold out before the full lineup was announced.

This was also the year Radiohead returned to headline the Pyramid Stage.

Revenue raised for good causes from ticket and commercial licence sales topped £1 million, half of which went to Oxfam, Greenpeace and Water Aid.

  • 3:30 Johnny: "He's eating the mic, isn't he...-_-"

  • @TvoShredderOfGnar have a listen to 'how to disappear completely' by the same boys, it's a slower tune but the string/ondes martenot playing is much more intricate.

  • @Snuglebandit Play an 11th fret A and 13th fret G together, then a 10th fret A and 12th fret G, followed by an 8th fret E and 10th fret D together. Then play an 18th fret A and 20th fret G together, followed by 15th and 17th on the E and D, and finally a 16th and 18th on the E and D.

Listen to the song for the rhythm and repeats. Sorry if it's not very clear but I'm sure you can work it out :)

  • Phil and Colin are always so tight

  • Dat bass line.
