My credit history (20 yrs) is perfect. Never been 30 days late on anything, I've had several car loans and credit cards. In the past few years I haven't payed much in interest aside from my car and home. I only have one credit card and when I applied for another recently I was turned down! My thoughts on this is that if I'm not carrying a balance and no interest is being made off me then they don't want to give me credit. What do you think?

@jerami101 @jerami101 You need to take a look at your credit report. 80-90% of credit reports have errors. If you have just one serious negative remark, on just one bureau, it can destroy your score.

@scoremore1 Thanks for the reply! I got it all sorted out. There was another person who's social security number is one digit different from mine, and got entered wrong on a credit application. So they were showing a couple credit cards on my credit report. Ha! Shows how much attention these guys pay to their job of monitoring your credit!!
