@sjcali57 this "fat lop of shit" would rip your head clean off your body without even breaking a sweat. show some respect for a strength legend.

It says it introduces you to two new elements? I've never trained with the ropes, what are they?
-
Anyone who says it's not exercise has just never tried it. It's as challenging as any other kind of resistance training.

What would you suggest as a good anchor?

@PrsFenderJackson1980 - You can use any smooth surface such as a kettlebell or basketball hoop pole. See our "Anchoring Your Battling Rope" for more info and tips. Hope that helps!

The Battling ropes has multiple systems.
1. The Velocity or Wave method (Sustained power & explosiveness)
2. The strength method (Multi Plain strength)
3. The Pole system (muscular & cardiovascular endurance)
You can read more at martial arts combat training or battling ropes training.
