@clarebannerman Drags the tempo down, comparing middle or end to the opening. Loudness though is set by the sound crew. I remember a Paddy Keenan live performance with him leaning steadily farther away from his pick-up guitarist that he nearly fell off his stool trying to escape.

This makes me feel so good. My fiddle teacher gives out to me about how I hold the fiddle, and I hold it the same as Mr Hayes here, who is a musical legend. Watching him play with Lúnasa was the best moment of my life.
