  • i like how valve didnt totally scrap there plot idea and just take the gameplay and make it into there own game, portal still had similarities to narbacular drop and valve helped make the game into something better without arguing over what can stay and what needs to go

    except i didnt, i was merely saying how respectful valve is for actually caring about their ideas, not just looking at it as a concept with a story that they didnt want. any other company as large as them would never even go out of there way to hire these people, nevertheless work with/ off of their original ideas (outside of the gameplay mechanics).
