I too, got the Zoo from the TV cable in Abilene! I think I would have lost my mind in high school if I didn't have the Zoo and had to listen to KFMN everyday. How about the Traffic Jam with Tempe Lindsey? I still have a full 90-minute cassette of the Traffic Jam, minus 30 seconds to flip the tape! The entire morning crew got my in the mood to face the day. Long Live The Zoo!

The Zoo was available over the tv cable, when I lived in Abilene. This was during the eighties, of which quite a few of my brain cells were destroyed. Used to tape songs off of the Zoo onto cassettes on a regular basis, and have bits and pieces of various DJ's doing their thing, still have lots of them stashed away, hopefully the FCC won't come knockin on my door! The breakfast club is a vague memory!
