I think Kraftwerk might just have been the inventors of modern music. Far more revolutionary than The Beatles. For goodness sake, they invented a whole genre, style and built their own unique instruments!

The first time I came across electronic music was when I went to see A Clockwork Orange about 1973.The opening scene when all the gang were in the Milk Bar,it was
an electronic version of L.v. Beethoven by Walter Carlos,got the L.P. & played it to death.Went to see Krafterk live in M/cr. about 74 in town,The Odean I think.They had all the background effects even then,electronic drums with cables coming off the drum sticks etc.,36 years ago!.Still great.

@MODTRASH I recorded that show live on Radio 1. It is the best live show by Kraftwerk I have ever heard. When they play Radioactivity in that show every hair on my body stands to attention... Thrilling stuff! I actually left that tape at a previous house in 2002 :( gutted.

@youandiaredominoes Indeed. You're not the only one that thinks that. Anyone that knows anything about music knows that Kraftwerk are the original techno/house/electronic/dance purveyors.
