A decade of difference yes indeed, but I spent £13,000 on this TLR preparing it for racing.... Two things here to note: 1. This TLR did not behave (accelerate or handle) anything like a standard TLR, 2. The Duc rider had not had the bike long and it was not set up correctly, oh and point 3. I'd had an extra sneaky dry practice at Cadwell that week whereas everyone else only had wet qualifying!

1:37.5 in the race where I fended off the 1098, but 1098's are capable of 1:36 and even 1:35

A tuned Triumph 675 is also capable of times beneath 1:37

Hi, racing against 1098's, Aprilia RSV's and mille's, plus other classes mixed in. Bike is heavily modified and pulling 141 bhp at back wheel. Also running SRAD forks re-kitted out and demon AP Racing brakes. Plus Gixerthou' slipper clutch conversion. £000's spent

I think I heard two 4cylinder bikes... what are those doing at a supertwin race? anyway, great videos man! I would've jizzed in my pants if I was watching this race from the side of the track. because of the sound of those fast big twin bikes!
