  • Actually this still leaves me confused. Carpet is sold in square yards and usually in rolls 12 feet long. Your room was 16 x 14.6 - it would have been helpful to see how propose to seem the carpet and it what direction, given the fact that you are dealing with 12ft lengths this would greatly effect how many square yards. Example a 10 x 10 room is 100 square feet, but if you bought 100 square feet of carpet it would too short and cause many needed cuts and seems.
