Daily Dictation is an ESL channel on YouTube for people who want to improve their English listening skills. Each lesson has a sentence (or two) for dictation, and the following lesson has the answers AND the next dictation^^

The original audio comes from Associated Press and the link to the video
is:

http://youtu.be/pTJuwMdo0dk

The answer:
Mother Teresa, who received a Nobel Peace Prize for her work on behalf of the poor, dies in Calcutta, India—she was 87 years old.

The second audio comes from the situation comedy Seinfeld: Season Three: Parking Garages. The answer...tomorrow!

  • Jerry, what time do you have? / I have 5 o'clock.

Interesting. The man asked using "have", so the other man answers also using 'have".

Probably, the meaning is: What time is it? / It is 5 o'clock. Really interesting sentences.

Thanks for the best lesson and source for ESL students (people?).

  • @TheCyberjoa Yes, if someone asks you a sentence using one pattern, you can use the same pattern when you answer them! It makes talking easier^^
