@streetbond He's still operating, though with a different scam now. Now he has people mail to request a little packet of holy water and a blessed prayer rug (rag/sheet corner). He includes with those items, which are free, instructions to send him as much money as the person can; their obedience to this will then cause God to bless them and relieve them of debt and other troubles. It's pretty sickening. I saw his little infomercial running on BET of all places a while back.

I believe there are still a few faith healers in the Philippines, mostly in far-flung provinces were medical practitioners and even basic education are scarce. Not surprising in a country where superstition, astrology, and biblical myths still reign supreme. I pity the fools.
