For my friend Troy. Demo of Marshall combo amp and Rocktron Utopia pedal sample tones. Just noodling and showing sound examples and versatility of the pedal and amp combo. I'm not trying to play any certain song or artist to perfection...just jamming for the purpose of Sounds with this all Solid State rig. Pretty impressive sound for a cheap rig. Enjoy.

  • Pretty cool! How do you have the Utopia hooked up to your amp? Is it going into the effectsloop?

  • Straight into the front end input. Bass on 10 mid contour about 2/3rd's up and about 5. Treble on 4.

  • @jemmuel97 I have a Jackson Randy Rhoads, the low-budget version made in India that I bought from Guitar Center about 7 years ago for 300 bucks. That might have something to do it, too. lol. Pedals I have are Boss Distortion, Digitech RP100A Guitar Modeling Processor and your standard Dunlop Crybaby Wah.

  • @uofm97 btw what guitar are you using

  • @uofm97 String noise? if had this amp for a long time and i have 4 pedals (boss dd7, jetter dual jetdrive, crunch box distorstion, crybaby wah) and it dosent have any string noise or feedback

  • @TheEmerchan That's a good idea. Thanks. I was thinking too that it may have something to do with the action on my guitar since I noticed that my strings sit maybe a quarter inch above the pickups. I have also noticed that sometimes I accidentally brush my fingers against open strings, so it could be that too. One thing I know for sure is when I try to go from the top to bottom of the fretboard (or vice versa), when I let off the strings to go from one part to the other is when it does it too.

  • @uofm97 try investing in a boss noise supressor, i had the same problem, but i bought an ns-2. i put it in the front of my chain then I send it out to the rest of my effects back to the Noise suppressors return, then output it to the amp... it works really well. you can get one $50 bucks used at guitar center

  • I've had this amp for almost 9 years and I battle string noise constantly. I have no idea what to do to stop it. I've tried turning down levels on my pedals, volume on the guitar, standing farther away from the amp, turining down the reverb. None of it seems to work. I like the amp since it does sound great at times, but the problems I've had and still have basically have led me to believe that what I have going into the amp (BOSS Dist., Digitech RPP1009, Dunlop Crybaby) is just too much for it.

  • Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit !! i fuckin love your amp !! what's your guitar model?

  • Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit !! i fuckin love your amp !!

  • @toyakz312 I would say yes, I own one and with my Schecter Daimer FR it has a very heavy sound. The distortion in this video is good, but trust me when you get it in your has it has a LOT more umph to it. It sounds really great. I love it.
