When people don't have insurance, they go to emergency rooms (which aren't equipped to give them care beyond bandaging them up and putting them back on the streets), and WE end up paying the bill. Or are you in favor of turning people away from ERs and letting them bleed to death in the streets as well? Probably, considering you're a Republican.
