  • it's very difficult

how can i do that ?

    Q_Q

  • @nh0kchip Do you have a question on the pattern? If so, I'm happy to help. Just let me know.

  • hi in this video it doesnt say how many to cast on and stops at heel is the pattern for this free so i can try this xx

  • @mccann75 The pattern that accompanies these videos is available for sale on my website, and the pattern will give you all of the numbers (like cast-on) that you need to knit the scarf. The link to the pattern is in the video description, just below the video. :)

  • Staci-I would like to make a larger stocking, what do you recommend for me to do, larger sized needles or changing the count of cast on stitches or both. Will still be using wool ease yarn. I did master the stretch of the first round, it didn't seem like it was going to make it, but it fell right in after the stretch of those first cast on stitches.

  • @NonnaCorsi To make a larger stocking, yes, just go up a needle size or two without changing any numbers in the pattern. This will make the fabric you are creating less dense, however. To maintain the density, you might want to hold the yarn double-stranded, or use a different and bulkier yarn. Hope that helps!

  • @verypinkknits Oh yes, you are so right!!! Thank you so much, wishing you lived near me (Michigan) so I could go to your one on one (so much needed) especially the WINE!!!! thanks again Staci

  • @NonnaCorsi Oh, my heart goes out to you, because I'm guessing that you're knitting with uncooperative circulars from the craft or fabric store! (Am I right?) Let me tell you about the good needles. YouTube won't let me give you links here in the comments, so you'll have to google these. Addi Turbos or Addi Clicks are very good, and available at yarn shops or online. Knit Picks sells needles on their website. Also very, very good. Those brands are my two favorites.

  • Please recommend a brand name for your circs, I'm having the hardest time knitting with the ones I have, the tube just does not give and not able to get the first row completed with the start of your Christmas sock I just purchased. Is there a trick I'm missing, keep in mind I've just started back knitting after 20yrs. Thanks

  • @saprater25 It's okay, you can use circulars! Even if your cast-on is a little tight to stretch around the circulars now, knit a couple of rows using the DPNs and you should be okay to switch to the circs. Things always loosen up after a few rows. I feel your pain - I much prefer flying on circulars than fiddling with DPNs.
