I have a theory to this so called 'Dante'. It isn't actually Dante, but some how, either brainwashed or otherwise he thinks he is Dante. But in reality he is just another demon or maybe another desendent of Sparda. Who knows. The gameplay videos do look really good though.

Okay picture this..... So we saw him being questioned for his name and after a long hesitant state he replies Dante, what if ( and this just some ideas) some group is trying recreate Dante kinda like what they did with Virgil in devil may cry 3 and the whole reboot thing is just a joke to scare us and then thrill us when late in the game the real Dante comes.?
