(chorus) Sorry for my bad English, in French it is more "singable", I didn't try to "poetise" the translation but I'm not quite sure "away" means "là-bas"! " Over there" would 've been better but too long for the song! " Décline" sounds far better than the french for " setting" : "se couche", or " couchant"! There's a meaning of fading, decaying like flower.
