The Action starts on September 15th, 2010. Register now at www.PeoplesTheatreProject.org/action
Action Theatre is an ensemble of English and Spanish speaking community members ages 16 and up, working together to create an original play about immigration and discrimination issues. Rehearsals will consist of games and improvisation that help us observe and understand our current reality and transform it in a safe and playful environment. We will then put this reality on stage, with sets, costumes and music and perform it for the community in an interactive forum. Let's rehearse for reality, and get ready to take action onstage and off!
Rehearsing on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30pm on the following dates:
9/15, 9/29, 10/13, 10/27, 11/10, 12/1, 12/15, 1/12, 1/26, 2/9
at The YM & YWHA of Washington Heights & Inwood
54 Nagle Avenue, New York 10040
Between Broadway and Ellwood
A train to 190th or 1 train to Dyckman
...and culminating in several interactive, public performances!
