On Wednesday, March 10, 2010, Congressman Dent rejected a resolution offered by Rep. Dennis Kucinich that would direct the President to remove U.S. forces from Afghanistan within 30 days. On the floor of the House, Congressman Dent expressed his opposition to the measure (H.Con.Res. 248) and reiterated his support for the ongoing mission to eliminate terrorist strongholds in Afghanistan. The measure failed by a vote of 65 to 356.
Dent is so willing to let us die for his spoils of war. People like this are pathetic. He never had the courage to serve, yet he is an expert on extracting armed forces. The soldiers aren't engaged in open combat with a military. The risk to us would be minimal. Just ask the Russians how many soldiers they lost while leaving. I don't think they lost any.
