That's why America tries so hard to incorporate "God" into everything.Religion is there to give these average people hope.
Those people who *may* start getting pissed at average living conditions and do something about it, but they don't, simply because that at the back of their head they still believe that "if they live this life honestly and modestly they will be rewarded with eternal life after death".

As to my suggestion? Get rid of all european/ middle eastern economic holdings here unless totally overseen by indigenous/ elected leaders. Next: make ALL politicians and corporate execs more accountable, they get no 6 digit retirements/ bonuses and the whole population must be willing to elect new ones as needed. The founding fathers and original colonists were willing to do WHATEVER was necessary, but the bulk of the population simply won't...
