I'm 17 years old. Personally, I dislike the music of my generation. My dad grew up in India, and listened to The Beatles. When I was born he decided to share the music with me, in fact I still remember the first time I heard a Beatles song, Hello Goodbye and I think I was around 3. Point is, not everyone forgot about this music, and I know I will pass the Beatles on to my children when the time comes. But I can't if you of the older generation keep them to yourselves. Let us love them too.

Think I played this LP until it was almost worn out. have loved it over the years along with lots of others, White Album was brilliant too. I think one of the things about the Beatles was that each tune was completely unique. I bet no one can tell me of two songs of the Beatles which sound alike, it just didn't happen. For those of you who loved the Beatles, then you should check out Wings, especially Venus and Mars another great album from donkeys years ago and led by dear old Paul McC.

@superguitarhero I feel the same way. There are a lot of very creative and excellent artists that still exist today. The only thing is, they aren't given as much commercial publicity as people like Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga are. It was the same thing back then, too. There were many great musicians back then, but not all of them received the same amount of exposure. The Beatles are only so well known because they received a great amount of publicity, but at the same time, were a great band.
