  • The lead singer is Carl Pritzkat...he was the drum major in the Redondo High School Band (CA) and graduated school there in 1980.

  • Wow, the Medflys, I saw them. Though Wall of Voodoo won't admit to it, I am positive that that was their original name.

  • I heard this song one time only, late one night in 1984-85 on WHFS, Washington DC, and never forgot it! It took me years to figure out what the name of the song and band was, but I'm glad I finally figured it out! Great early 80s SoCal New Wave! I went to school in Monterey around that time, a transplant from New England, and was amazed at all the great music floating around there back then - Surf Punks, The Medflys, etc. This song really takes me back - thanks for posting!

  • Anyone know the record title, or any band member's names?

  • I can't beleive this song is here. Takes me back to 1982 at the beach in Orange County listening to Jed the Fish and Buster Hymen with the weather. How I miss Oingo Boingo concerts on Halloween. Now that was music. I even have my 11 year old daughter listening to Oingo and The Ramones.

  • I Agree!!!!!!!!

Bein' Teenage Punk & New Wave During the 80's In L.A./O.C.

    How GREAT Was That?

  • @kruserla

It's also on an album called the Obscurity Files. Along with Klinko the Kid Lovin' Clown....and Killer PUSSY!

  • @LONGBEACHPUNKROCK

Ah, the days of FAD GADGET and Oingo Boingo...I miss the creative times.
