@caponeauto . Thank you for your reply. All I have done to the Int. runner is smooth all sides, I did not hog it out, just made everything equal. The exh. runner I took out the bumps and smoothed the runner. Pretty good news on the head casting! I plan on new valves like u mentioned. Just would like to get 425hp maybe a little more but that might be pressing that head? IDK. Its my 2nd Mopar engine. There's just something about Mopar I need to itch.

@Antibacterialspray01 452 are great heads(ive got flow #S)they out flow 906 AND heav hard ext seats,the motor u have is 7:1(if out of the rv)do a 30 deg back cut on int valves(helps low -.300 - .400 lift flow).just did a 440(77 rv motor w/452) DONT touch the short turn on the intake runner.

What type of head are you running? I just got rid of my RV, I have a 78' 440 with 65K miles but the 452 head casting. I do know the dang pistons have a short comp. height! there like .100 down in the hole! Just wondering your build sheet. I am putting this into a 93 2wd Toyota p.u. Cause I can't afford a Coronet. I know new pistons are in order to get to a close .010 or .020 D.C. etc, but can these heads work alright with some smoothing the runners, ink, exh, no bumps, port match? thanks
