to each his own, but the movie's definitely more interesting than watching 8 hours of footage.. or perhaps kingnutter is lucky to have a window by his desk :P

I was looking at the piece from an artistic and content point of view, without considering your software as a practical tool. And as you have (somewhat over-defensively) pointed out, you have used it successfully for your needs. Still boring though.

Okay ass, when I'm gone at work for 8 hours and am wondering if a single bird remains in the nest that long it makes sense to condense 8 hours into 8 minutes. Then I have an answer to a question that is much more feasible than sitting in a chair for 8 hours. So, speeding up a days worth of footage does enhance something, the behavior of two adult doves in rearing their young. Congratulations on making an ass of yourself. Anything else?

Call me old fashioned, but isn't the point of timelapse that speeding of the image enhances something that happens therein? This would be more interesting at the natural speed. At least we cold hear them tweeting. Congratulations on making something MORE boring with timelapse. Oh. Unless this is art. In which case, have a Turner Prize.
