....first off....quite a nice vid clip that the camera captured the action with good close up clear shots...as for this guy being gay...thats no importance to me...what is ...that he's made a contribution to his country & done some thing with his life...rather than join the screaming queens brigrade,who do far more damage than they ever could do good...Thanks for posting....

I think it's great that he's an openly gay athlete. As people have said, from the hundreds of thousands of athletes around the world in all the different sports available, statistically speaking some of them must be gay. It's just a shame they don't feel as comfortable about it as Mitcham does/fear that it might hurt their career.
