This is the full uncut inerview portion from Phish's appearance on PBS' 'Sessions At West 54th' from the late 90's. I acquired this tape in 1999 through a trade with someone in New York City and was released as part of the Soy Productions release of the full sessions DVD.
I "remastered" the audio so it's louder and balanced the two audio channels, but there is occasional tape flutter.

Great interview. Both sides warm up to each other as the interview progresses so that it's really crackling by the end. Kind of like a Phish show.

uhhh do you know who that is? that's david byrne,one of the most creative musicians of the 20th century. sure,he's awkward but he has a brilliant mind and seems like a genuinely nice person.
