Is this your own opinion? For its not what the Bible teaches.
The Bible teaches that Jesus had to take up all our sins before He could be crucified. And God had both Jesus and John the Baptist be born to fulfull all righteousness.
You do not know or can read the Bible. If you did you would see this salvation plan of God starting from Genesis. In the dominion of heaven, God starts with imperfection and ends in perfection. The Tabernacle door faced towards the east, at the rising of the sun. And all who entered had to be saved by the blue thread, the scarlet thread, the purple thread and the pure white thread. Here we see Gods salvation plan, the water (blue), scarlet (blood), purple (Kingship), white thread, being saved.
When the High Priest layed his hands on the live goats head on the Day of Atonement as set by God, he put all Israels sin onto it. This was to set Israel free from that years sin thereby giving them access to God. This was a shadow of good things to come showing us how Jesus, our sacrificial Lamb was to take up all the sins of the world at His water baptism. And in this video we see Him fulfilling all righteousness where He received baptism by John the Baptist, the last earthly high priest.
@keeynotes - In baptism, Jesus fulfilled the commandments of washings given to each individual, the congregation, the Levites, and the Priesthood.
Before a Levite was allowed into the Priesthood, he was commanded to wash his clothes and his body, signifying purification, BEFORE he could fulfill his duties as a priest. Jesus fulfilled this command so that he could fulfill his duties: preach the gospel, heal the sick, etc.
@ThePhxman1 - Your notions cannot get you to heaven by just believing in God. If this were so then the devils who also believe can also enter heaven. Do you really understand what the water and the Spirit really means??? Many have no clue and because of this they either remove it from the Bible or change it like you have done. The Bible says anyone doing this will be in big trouble with God. The baptism of Jesus by John is where He took up all our sins in accordance with Scripture.
@keeynotes - The "born again" experience (Jn. 3:3) enables the believer to SEE the kingdom of God; that is, to believe/discern the righteousness of God and repent.
Being born "of water and of the Spirit" (Jn. 3:5) enables the beliEvers to ENTER into the kingdom of God.
The baptism of Jesus by John the baptist is indeed the mystery of being born again. This baptism was also taught to Nicodemus in John 3:5 which now saves us (1 Peter 3:21).
John 3:3-5 thus means, "If someone wants to be born again, they should be born of water and the Spirit. Here water means the baptism of Jesus, which does away with all the sins of the world once and for all. The Spirit means that Jesus who received baptism from John the Baptist is God Himself.”
Hechos 19,5 Lo escucharon, y fueron bautizados en el Nombre del Señor Jesús y como Pablo les impusiera las manos, vino sobre ellos el Espíritu Santo, hablaron en lenguas y profetizaron. Eran como doce hombres.

You need to read the WHOLE Bible.

Through the baptism of Jesus (the water), God completed the Day of Atonement, which was written in the Old testament.
The Day of Atonement is thus a shadow of Jesus' baptism and His death on the Cross.
