@miscellaneouspile Jesus was trying to teach people without frightening them the way things really are, e.g. we are ruled by evil spirits who also want to multiply at our expense. So if an angry man cannot provoke me to anger the violent spirit dies off. Try it. It works.

I love this movie!  It's so frickin' authentic. It's hard to take any other biblical film seriously because it lacks so much authenticity. When I saw this film I didn't see Jim Caviezel playing Jesus, I SAW JESUS!
