This is a digital video of the Topeka Zoo, Topeka, KS. Included are pictures and videos of their giraffes, elephants, cats, birds but it does not include all their animals.
The zoo is located on a 180 acre park, called Gage Park, the park began in 1899 when Gilford Gage donated 60 acres for a park to the City of Topeka.
Gage park has many attractions besides the zoo, such as trainrides that the kid in you and your kids will enjoy, a huge swimming pool with both a hive dive and a low dive, 3 different types of slides, 3 different water fountains in the pool area, a really nice kiddy pool.
Gage park also has a well established rose garden that volunteers help keep beautiful, there is a caurosel for the kids, and there is even a horseshoe court! There are baseball diamonds, and it is the only park in Topeka that has a real dog park where you can bring your dogs to be with other dogs, in a large fenced area. Shelter areas are available for family and friend gatherings, there is also a theatre, there are other things too.
Come to Topeka, Ks and visit the Zoo in Gage Park at 6th and Gage.
It doesn't cost much and is well worth the treat.

It's hit and miss. You don't really get to see all the animals. I've been there umteen times and still haven't seen the tigers, unless you count paws sticking out from the rock they hide behind.. They are either hiding, or too far to really view. I alwasy leave feeling ripped off.
