  • I agree! Open areas are wonderful! However, the small portion of Pine Creek that is on our private property has been abused historically. With the public welcome to be on our land, we encountered drunkenness, garbage, overfishing and so much more. Restricting this small portion of our personal backyard has allowed our guests to enjoy privacy and cleanliness as well as a chance for repopulation of the fish.

  • Brown trout are not native to North America.

  • Brown Trout were imported to the United States around 1890 and from those eggs we now have populations of Brown Trout all over America. When I say "native Brown Trout" I am referring to the fact that they are naturally here and not stocked.

  • It is wonderful to have areas open to the public like Penns Creek. I wonder why you have made the creek in your area "restricted to only guests"?

  • Those would be wild brown trout
