The government doesn't actually give a shit about your health. They demonize something because they want to be able to tax something to get more money without people bitching about it too much. Notice in the U.S. that these aggressive quit smoking campaigns started right around the time they slapped a huge fucking tax on cigarettes & they went from like $4 to $7+ a pack? The gov't couldn't care less if you died from lung cancer or smoking related diseases.

i have been smoking cigarettes for over 6 months now, as a child i had lung problems my lungs collasped 7 times from when i was an infant up to that age 7 i am 16 now and i have asthma, i have been a runner for 2 years i just starting smoking alot since august 2011. should i quit. cause i have trouble breathing running now and i use my inhaler 3 times a day from just smoking 6 to 10 cigarettes a day. I NEED ADVICE

Choice is yours,and your health by and large is in your own hands,choose to smoke?-accept the risk when it goes tits up and you are incurably ill.No one needs to smoke or do drugs,its personal choice,and balls to government-who wants to make themselves ill when in life all you really have which is any use to you is in fact,your health??.Take control of you own life and bad habits,and adress them if need be,don,t leave it to others.
