This video tells the story of Stingy Jack, who on more than one occasion managed to hoodwink the Devil and ended up wandering through the underworld with a hollowed out turnip lamp giving rise to the tradition of the Jack o' lantern. Truthful Celtic mythology and a bit of comedy in semi-equal measure. The tradition of turnip carving started in Ireland, other Christian nations use various vegetables to create lamps to scare away Stingy Jacks ghost and other naughty demons. Arguably, however, pumpkins are best for carving, so much easier than turnips... less traditional but best... enjoy the video. I worked really hard on it. Music, Narration, everything just to get it ready for Hallowe'en.
