yeah, but the thing is here in northwest arkansas we dont need to worry about tornados. we get funnels and cells all the time. but its nearly impossible to keep a tornado down on the ground for more than ten seconds. when WAS the last time we got one...15 years ago??

I was in the Overland neighborhood and it pulled up just as it approached our house. Had a house full of people for a graduation/birthday party. Glad it pulled up when it did....

I was in Lowell that night, got all kinds of hail (ping pong ball sized showing .75 updraft layer alone) and it was like a car wash going by. It wasn't that windy but all of a sudden, it was like someone spraying a hose, then stopping, then spraying. Like a really slow rotation that was throwing water and hail every time it went around. I was outside in my truck under some pillows, lol.
