Heh, because I always hated the "sidewalk experience" in Korea. Cars driving on it, people cutting me off, bumping into me, coughing on me etc. I was hoping somebody had filmed a sidewalk so I could relive the pain.

Did you live in Korea? If so, how long?

I was born in Korea, so I was there until about 3. I've gone back 3 or 4 times, and I lived there for 18 months and got back January or so this year. How long were you there? Were you teaching English?

Yup, I was teaching English there for a year. I didn't mind the "sidewalk experience" so much and got used to it pretty quickly. But surely you must like something about Korea considering you keep going back.

Yeah, I like the food. I speak Japanese and go to Japan quite often, so once and a while I take the boat for $250 across to Korea and eat and drink for a little bit. Now that i've found out what it's like to be there for a long time i'll probably never go back. It's just far to xenophobic and racist for me. That country seems nice on the surface, but they have a long way to go. It's like Japan 20 years ago or something.
