  • Good video, nice to see another gas bottle not going to waste ;-)

    I've used bits of wood for templates, but never thought of cardboard - good idea!

    I would suggest you wear some gloves tho' - I use the thin leather 'TIG welding' ones - really handy if you move a bit quick on thick stuff and the plasma jets out on the wong side.

    I also use UV specs (cheap plastic ones are OK) because there's a lot of UV shining about even tho the flame is mostly hidden the other side of the work.

  • @originaltonywilk Thanks for your comment. I use gloves when I weld or cut, just for this video I didn't put them on. Generally I don't like the noise so while I'm cutting or grinding always use ear plugs. My father was the"brave one" he never used ear defenders, so now his TV's blasting full volume so he can hear something.
