The "joys" of being allowed to light fireworks from 10 AM 31-12-2011 till 2 AM 01-01-2012

In The Netherlands you are allowed to buy your own fireworks from the 29th of December till 31-12.

Big organised, professional firework displays are only common in the big cities of The Netherlands, so everyone buys shitloads of firework and lights a lot of it before 31-12 0:00.
Some American MSN friends I knew from a 3D forum once asked what it looks or sounds like, so here is a short, edited video from the atmosphere in the city of Purmerend at 31-12-2011.

Those same MSN friends once listened to a sound recording and one made the remark that my city sounded like a war zone.

After this video there will be one last video of 2011 around the local elections of 2010.
