  • sorry just one thing but for tang soo do isnt ki yun yi the grandmaster? or is bryne the grand master of canadian tang so do (!amazing board break btw!) (purple belt gradin this weekend for red)

  • A GM is head of an organisation. Gm Byrne is founder and president of the ATA in Boston and now holder of the 8th Dan,GM. However,GM Charles Ferraro is of Mi Guk Kwan,GM Ho Sik Pak is of Hwarang World TSD Federation,GM Jae Chul Shin of World TSD Org,GM HC Hwang (son of Hwang Kee) of US Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan. And Ki Yun Yi is founder and president of the International Martial Arts Association and 9th Dan.That entitles him to be called GM.If you have more questions, let me know.
