Moon Sighting: A Clarification...Part 3

Shaikh Haitham addresses the issue of moon sighting indicating important events such as Ramadan and Eid. There has been much confusion surrounding the issue and he seeks to clarify the problem and offer advice by using Islamic juristic (fiqhi) and logical arguments.

In Saudi Arabia the sighting of the moon has been accepted before even the birth of the moon on many occasions which is impossible in my view. I have discussed the situation with many Saudi Ulama and they are also disturbed with these occurrences however since this is in the hands of the Majlisul Qadha Al-A’la Riyad they are helpless.

Hafiz Patel is a Fitnah in the UK about the moon sighting and Eids .He follows the Saudi House . And you know that the Aali saud is the most dangrous Munaafiq in the world 4 the Muslims. wearing the robe of the so called Khadimul Haramain is enough to deceive the faithfulls. also faithfulls should beware, when they r getting injected with the poison just before the Hujj and Umrah visa under the pretext of health and safety. Z Hejja ه ١٣٩٩ (Shekha Bin Baaz) The grand scholar Mufti of Saudi Arabia (Al Bathul Islami p 63) After doing extensive research on this issue, he concludes with this statement. ‘As for those who say that it is necessary to follow the sighting of Makkah then let it be known that there is no proof or basis for this in the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah’.

Shaykh Haytham actually was surrounded by ignorant partisans on the 'Islam channel debate'. But alhamdulila his arguments, knowledge and manners clearly proved his understanding on the subject is far greater than his opponents.

...He was trying to prove that the shar'i maonth is not the same as the astronomical month when he used the 'khalifa' analogy... he clearly wasn't refering to current day method of starting/finishing fast... Just shows how stupid you are...
