2-65 is certainly a lot LIGHTER than a 2-55, and I prefer the softer sound of the 2-65. Same bad tracking angle error on all the porto Victors, though.

My 2-65 has a non-spider diaphragm - I assume the factory snipped it off & used an extra-long connector from the stylus bar to the diaphragm. How about yours?

@edisone1 Seems that all 2-65 and the late 2-55 have the spiderless diaphragm.

Needle bar is the same, they pushed out the center of the ortho diaphragm and added a hole and an eyelet.
